Beginner Longsword – This class is your introduction to HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) this class will cover the basics of longsword fighting as done in period. The techniques used are from 14th century – 16th century fighting manuals. The weapons are historically accurate. This course will cover footwork, cuts, thrusts, parries, bind work, grappling with swords, and more.

Longsword Mondays – A lesson from the texts followed by drill work. Class ends with 15minutes of sparring. Main sources used are from Johannes Liechtenauer and Joachim Meyer.
